CUSTOM FOOD PACKAGING

Custom Greaseproof Sandwich Paper Bags

Custom open-top sandwich paper bags developed around the finished sandwich, bag opening, depth, side gusset, grease conditions and counter packing workflow.

PRODUCT FIT

Build the bag around the sandwich profile and loading motion.

An open-top sandwich bag is a formed package, not a wrapping sheet. Width, depth, side gusset, usable height and opening shape should be checked with the finished sandwich and the way staff load it.

Common applications

  • Prepared sandwiches
  • Panini and filled rolls
  • Bakery savouries
  • Grab-and-go foodservice

What can be customized

  • Bag width, gusset and height
  • Opening and top edge
  • Paper and grease barrier route
  • Print layout and colors
  • Packing quantity and orientation

MATERIAL & STRUCTURE ROUTES

Compare the function before selecting a weight or finish.

These are common routes to evaluate, not fixed promises. Final suitability is confirmed for the actual food, use and destination.

01

Grease-resistant paper route

A grease-resistant route can be evaluated for sandwiches, panini or savoury bakery products according to oil, moisture and holding time.

02

White or kraft appearance

The visible paper color changes print contrast and brand presentation; the actual paper construction still needs separate confirmation.

03

Flat or side-gusseted bag

A side gusset increases expansion for thicker food, while a flatter format may suit slimmer sandwiches and counter storage.

SPECIFICATION VIEW

Opening, gusset and usable depth control the real fit.

A representative sandwich and an empty formed bag help check loading clearance, exposed food area, side expansion, print position and the preferred pack orientation.

BUYER QUESTIONS

What happens before production?

Should I use a sandwich bag or a wrapping sheet?

A formed bag supports quick top loading and partial product exposure. A sheet offers more folding flexibility and coverage. Test both against the actual service workflow.

How do I choose the bag width and gusset?

Measure the sandwich at its widest and thickest points, then allow practical loading clearance. A physical sample is needed to confirm the opening and usable internal space.

Can the top edge and print layout be customized?

Top-edge direction, bag proportions and print layout can be coordinated subject to the confirmed converting route. Send artwork and a reference bag or dieline for review.

What is the minimum order quantity?

MOQ is confirmed per project. Bag dimensions, paper route, gusset, printing and inner packing determine the practical production minimum.

Can I check a sample first?

Available stock samples are free, with freight paid by the buyer. Custom samples are charged first, and the fee is credited after a bulk order.

How long does the process take?

The current target is a first digital mockup within 3 hours during China working hours after usable customer artwork. After visual approval and payment of the sampling fee, a custom sample can be dispatched within 7 days. After sample approval and payment, most orders dispatch from the factory within 30 days.
